Two elected school board members take oath of office

Dr. Traci Pierce, Superintendent, swore in two elected school board members on Dec. 4. Mark Stuart is starting his second term. Cassandra Sage is beginning her first term, replacing retired board member Nancy Bernard.

EHS sophomore has been named a 2018 YoungArts Finalist in dance and is eligible to attend YoungArts Week in Miami in January. JHS senior was recognized with a YoungArts Merit Award in Visual Arts and is eligible to participate in a regional YoungArts event.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Redmond Middle School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive and equitable professional school counseling program supporting the academic, career, and personal/social development of each student to prepare them for success in high school, other future educational opportunities, the global workplace and in their personal lives.

What do we do?

Academic Development

Implement strategies and activities to support and maximize each student's ability to learn.

Career Development

Provide the foundation for the acquisition of skills, attitudes and knowledge that enable students to make a successful transition from school to the world of work, and from job to job across the life span.

Personal/Social Development

Provide the foundation for personal/social growth as students progress through school and into adulthood.
