ASB Clubs
All clubs at RMS are student directed. If you are interested in learning more about a club or to be added to a Team, please email the club advisor.
If you have an idea for a new club, we are happy to help! New clubs need at least ten (10) interested students and a faculty member to serve as advisor. Email ASB Advisor, Kass Morris (kamorris@lwsd.org) if you would like more information on how to start a new group.

Other Opportunities:
We have a few student connection opportunities which are not ASB sponsored clubs, but in which students may still be interested. These include:
- Student Affinity Spaces – supported by our District’s Equity and Family Engagement department. These Affinity Spaces are a time and place for students to connect with others of the same culture in a safe and inclusive space. Our Affinity Spaces meet during WIN Time/Choice and students can register via Flexisched. For more information on these spaces, please contact the group facilitator.
- Diaspora Space – Black and African Affinity Group – Latu Wanjalatan – c-lwanjalatan@lwsd.org
- LatinX Café – Hispanic and Latinx Affinity Group - Sergio Barerra – sbarrerabatista@lwsd.org
- AAPI – Asian and Pacific Islander Affinity Group – Rathan Mahendran and Shin Park – rmahendran@lwsd.org and shpark@lwsd.org
- The Grizzly Den – A space/time after school on Wednesdays for students to meet. There are no structured activities, but students can bring things of their own (cards, games, crafts, etc.) and have a supervised space to hang out with their friends. Grizzly Den meets in the Commons from 12:50pm – 2:10pm. Students are responsible for their own way home afterwards.
- Griz Fit – An after-school fitness group which meets every day after school for an hour. Students work on cardio and weight training under the supervision of Fitness teacher Mr. Fenwick – cfenwick@lwsd.org
- PTSA Clubs – There are several clubs and activities available through the RMS PTSA, including Math Club, Science Team, Spelling Bee, Reflections and our Drama program. More information about the PTSA sponsored clubs can be found on the PTSA website at https://rmsptsa.org/Program.
